I can't wait to hear about the comparisons/contrasts of shamanic traditions between NA and LA shamanic cultures.
Due to their history of being persecuted by the Spanish and Catholicism, the indigenous are understandably a rather closed and cloistered society.
I hope you have some kind of introduction from your Montanan shamans which will serve to allow you entrance and access to their Bolivian counterparts.
What a fascinating experience you are about to undertake--I wish you well, and hope you will keep us informed of your sure-to-be fascinating experiences.
